Sixteen years ago I was sixteen years old. I was a sophomore in high school, dying to get a learner's permit, playing lacrosse, waiting for summer and cheer camp, hanging with my best friend (who is still my best friend to this day), I'd never had a serious boyfriend, or been away from home for more than 48 hours... I was only ten and a half years older than my daughter is right now. Wow. Just wow!!
You know, looking back I think I would have been thrilled, beyond belief, if a fortune teller had told me my life was going to turn out the way it has. This is it... I've arrived! I've got everything that the girl in this picture ever wanted! So, here's to me: Happy Sweet 16 x 2!
