Jones Apple Orchard

It's apple week at Lorelai's school (every week there is a theme to coordinate with a letter of the alphabet).  So we took it to the next level (because you know I love themes) at Jones Orchard in Millington, TN and picked Arkansas Black Apples.  That type of apple is very dense and tart, and perfect for apple pies according to my Google research!  We had a great afternoon in the field, and polished off the night at Macaroni Grill!

Paint Party

The lyric "I'll never know how much it
cost to see my sins upon that cross" is one of my favorites, Lorelai and I had a great time with the ladies from church at a paint party today!!

ER

We spent an entire night in the ER after my mom accidently stepped off a curb on the way back from sunset pictures at the sand dunes.  Luckily the x-rays showed that she didn't break anything.  Stay tuned for pictures with the EMTs, I'm thinking Christmas card inserts ;)

The Little Zoo That Could

Lorelai, Rusty, me and my dad went to The Little Zoo That Could for my dad's birthday on the beach, and we had a tiger cub encounter!  It was so cool, and obvious they are natural born predators.  I was squating down to take a picture when one pounced on me and got knocked back on by butt, these little cubs are only around 20 pounds but solid muscle!
