Sesame Street Live

Is coming here!!! Has anyone ever been to a show? I'm really excited, and I think Lorelai is going to go insane when she sees Elmo in person!

Hand Washing

Yesterday I took Lorelai to Lasting Expressing for their Customer Appreciation Day. While we were there I used the restroom to change Lorelai's diaper. Anyway, after changing Lorelai's diaper I took her off the changing table, and turned to wash my hands. When I turned back around I saw that Lorelai had found a sink that was her size (read: the toilet) and had her hands in the water copying Mommy and "washing" her hands too. Nice.

She is also excellent at mimicing my "Seriously?" face.

Mommy & Lorelai

Here we are stopping by my parents house last Sunday before we went to the zoo!

And, yes those are my white denim Citizens... not looking nearly as 80's ish as I thought they'd be.

Zoo

The Birds and the Bees exhibit was way less exciting this time, it seemed like there were way less birds than last time and they were much harder to catch. But we did finally make it to the sea lion show (we've been trying to catch it all season), and we were very impressed! Oh, and we rode the train for the first time, which was a HUGE hit with Lorelai!

Growing

Lorelai is 21 months old today, and she put her sun glasses on top of her head by herself because she is cool like that!!

Partying Like Rock Stars

Friday night Rusty and I went to Nina's (one of my Jackson BFFs) "Party Like a Rock Star" themed birthday bash!! I was Ginger Spice, and Rusty was David Bowie (the Labrinyth years). Snack

This is a post of popular demand. I have a BFF named Kandi. Well, Lorelai calls any type of candy/treat that I give her a "snack". So Lorelai calls Kandi "Snack" (as in candy) whenever she sees her... I am trying to teach her to call Clint (Kandi's husband) Mr. Snack. It is super cute and hilarious. Just watch below!

When we were in Ohio to visit my Grandpa we got to see my dad's cousin's kittens, and they were so cute and Lorelai loves cats SO much that we took her to a photographer to have a professional picture made... and the photographer LOVED the picture so much that he is using it as advertising at Wendy's! I'm such a stage mom... this is just too fabulous for words in my book!

Make-up Video

My little girl is ALL GIRL. She carries a purse, reads magazines, shops, and loves playing with make-up!

I will try to take a better video later... I had to trade out my Canon camera for a Kodak one this past weekend... hopefully this one will work better for us!

Helping Daddy & Grandpa

My mom got this fabulous baby doll bed at a yard sale in my neighborhood, and my dad sanded it down, and Rusty is in the process of painting it. Lorelai is VERY excited to have somewhere to put her bebes to nigh-nigh.
