Jr.K Yoga

I teach yoga every Friday morning to Lorelai's Jr.K class, the kids love it and are so cute in their little poses! I love it, because for 30 glorious minutes I get to be hands on in Lorelai's class and she proudly stands up front by me, and for a tiny window each week I feel like super mom!

Star of the Week

Lorelai was "Star of the Week" at school this past week, and since we had two ice days she got two make up days this week. Star of the Week is a VERY big deal in the world of junior kindergarten, and consists of making a poster about yourself, bringing something each day for show and tell (Lorelai's show and tell items were her purse, her iPad, CC dog, all three of her American Girl dolls, and her aquariums with her hermit crab, that is miraculously still alive from Gulf Shores this summer, and little red ear slider turtle), and also the Star gets a special spot at the front of the single file line!

Rusty on Ice

Rusty took quite a spill on the ice last week during our winter storm. And it looks like we may have another batch of bad weather this week too! Look out.

Lucky for all of us, he was fine and in great spirits, and pulled the footage from our security cameras to share online, ha!

CC went to school (in uniform) for show and tell.  She was so excited to be there (read: she pee'd all over the floor)! Lorelai was so proud to show off her best friend!  CC was a model student and just couldn't get enough of all the kids and attention.  It was so cute!

Sharp Shooting Saturday

I passed the TN Handgun Safety course. It
was my first time, ever, to hold a gun and shoot. But, I passed!

Garlic, does a body good

Along with juicing and trying to eat clean we're chowing down garlic like vampires are banging at the door, we smell awesome by the way.  Awesome, I'm telling you. 

Eat Clean Vodka Pasta Sauce

Ground turkey, vodka sauce, garlic, baby spinach, tomatoes! And, we're juicing again... Look out 2013!!

Harlem Globetrotters

Last night we kicked off our innaugral family game night, we're going to try to play games every Thursday night (Saturday is family movie night)!  We got lucky and the Harlem Globetrotters were in town, Lorelai really enjoyed the show and it was a fun and funny as it was in the 80s when I went with my family!

A New Year
