This is the friend that Lorelai made at the zoo, Abbigail! Adorable! They walked to the Northwest Passage hand in hand... Abbigail's parents seemed just is happy with the friendship as we were.. so cute!!

I'm sure that my faithful blog readers are more than aware that we LOVE carousels! And, we noticed that the Memphis Zoo carousel was made in Mansfield, OH... remember, we posted about our visit to Mansfield's Richland Carousel Park last month? Neat!

Monkey

Lorelai loved the monkey, and the monkey loved Lorelai... they even kissed through the glass divider. I felt bad for the monkey, I think he found a kindred spirit in Lorelai and wanted to come home with us!!

My boss's daughter got married today in an absolutely beautiful wedding and she looked like a princess... I wish I had more pictures to share because everything was so fabulous (unfortunately my camera batteries always seem to die at the worst possible times).

Ready for Summer

Lorelai wore this fabulous tutu skirt and her new sandals to my work picnic this week. She was the belle of the ball and twirled upon request to show off her skirt!

Baseball

Here we are at the Diamond Jaxx home opener game! We had so much fun last night, and enjoyed watching the game from an amazing suite compliments of Young Lawyers Division (which was good since it was un-seasonably cold)... we stopped on our way out and had our picture made with Ribby, the mascot... FUN!

18 Months

Lorelai is a year and a half old today! Eighteen months ago this world went from being one without Lorelai Ballentine to one with her... and that, my friends, is a glorious reason to celebrate! She's growing bigger everyday, she is an excellent mama to her baby dolls making sure that they take their bottles and wipe their mouths, she's talking more and more, loves Oreos (ee-oooos), and kitties are still her favorite... though recently she has taken a huge liking to grabbing a hold of the Seuss' tail and holding on for dear life as she giggles with glee on the most fun ride around (poor kitty). Lorelai is the coolest kid; the prettiest, smartest, and most loving little girl that lights up my world!!!

I love half-birthdays... they're just plain fun! So, Happy 1 and 1/2 B-Day Baby!
