THIS IS IT

My mom and I saw THIS IS IT tonight. And, IT was genius. We were on the edge of our seats, tapping our toes the whole time. I've always found Michael Jackson very inspiring, and this was no exception.
Back when I was in high school, it was just my mom and I living in New Jersey (Derek was gone to college, and my dad was living in Virginia on business). Anyway, we had a bit of fun in our no-boys-allowed-all-girls-club-house.... well, when Titanic came out we LOVED it, and saw it like 10 times on the big screen... occasionally on school nights followed by Dairy Queen for dinner.... there are certain cinematic experiences that must be seen on the big screen, and THIS IS IT is one of them (just like Titanic was)... if Lorelai were a bit older I have a feeling that we would be at the theatre every night for the next two weeks!

Quote of the Day
More pictures coming soon...
Meemi and Pa... if you read this post and have time in between playing with the little two year-old.....to take pity on me please send more pictures from the party (some including y'all)and I'll post them for my happy readers!
Happy Birthday Song
She actually did manage to blow out one of the candles once! We had to light and re-light the candles over and over until they were completely burned... the birthday girl loved the song and seeing the flames go out each time saying 'more'!

Doll Baby Themed Birthday
Doll babies galore! We celebrated all day long with coffee and chocolate milk at Starbucks, lunch at Olive Garden, doll-themed party at home, and dinner at Chuck E. Cheese. Lorelai had an amazing day!
We probably have about 30 of these babies from the dollar store, and Lorelai loves them all... (don't get me wrong we have an obscene amount of Madame Alexanders, and now a Middleton Doll too) but when we're bored or as a treat, or 'just because' we will stop in the dollar store and pick out 'just one' baby... I really should take a picture of her kneeling next to the bin... she really checks them over before selecting one.... and I always let her give the clerk the money (pronounced 'minnow'). She loves it! Anyway, I decided to fill a bag with these beloved dollar babies and I got the exact reaction I was looking for! Adorable!!
