Dollhouse Table

The legs are still drying (we'll remove the wax paper soon), but here is the table/ grass for the dollhouse, and a VERY happy Lorelai to have it all within her reach! Adorable, isn't it?

As I type this Rusty and my dad are huddled on the living room floor stapling the "grass" to a table they just made to hold Lorelai's dollhouse. Seuss has already taken up residence on the second floor... a sortof safe haven until Lorelai's little fingers come throught the windows! This has already been a huge undertaking and we've got a long road ahead of us to make it perfect... drum roll, please... We'll post more pictures soon, but it's HUGE... 2 feet deep, 3 feet long, and as tall as Lorelai!

Snow, snow, and more snow.

We have had SO much snow. And, it just keeps coming... and I think we have more forecasted for the end of this week. There were just flurries last night and today, but still enough to keep the ground covered. My mom bought this sweater back when we lived in Bloomington, IN... when I was a pre-teen, and Lorelai was only a distant thought... my mom was already buying for her! LOL!

Songs of the Day

I went to the Flogging Molly concert on Friday night in Memphis at Minglewood Hall, and it was so much fun!!!! My Irish-loving-self danced the night away!
