We weren't planning on actually going out to the Statute of Liberty anyway, but for historical purposes we posed next to the Government Shutdown sign.
American Girl was the main event of the day. We dropped Felicity off at the doll hospital and it was really neat, they put her in a hospital gown and rolled her away on a bed. So cute!
We rode the carriage ride through Central Park!
Lorelai LOVES Eloise, so we went to The Plaza to see if we could find her. Unfortunately, the concierge informed us that she had gone out to play but we still enjoyed looking around and shopping in her store! We even got to write her a letter and we've been told that Eloise personally responds! Lorelai loved The Plaza so much that I'm planning a trip back next Christmas!
And, we accidently ended up in Time Square just before finishing out our day in NYC!
