Jewel & Toby Keith - Go Tell It On the Mountain (Live)

I wish I had my Flip on when "Go Tell It On The Mountain" was played at Christmas Eve service... but for memories sake, I'm going to post what happened on here... Lorelai danced, stomped, and swayed in the aisle, arms raised in the air. Celebrating. Living life to the fullest. It was A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. and I am blessed beyond measure. As I type, my little angel is still awake, she hasn't had a nap, and we're online tracking Santa on NORAD (he's in Trinidad & Tobago right now in case you're wondering)!! Christmas with a three year old in the house is how I want to spend every year! Merry Christmas y'all!

Hill Photography

Hill Photography is simply the best. They just posted this as their Facebook profile picture, and I feel like I've won the lottery... the work they do is second to none and I couldn't be more proud of Lorelai's 3 year session!!! She is gorgeous and they captured her beauty perfectly here!

Cindy Lou Who, Lorelai

The Polar Express is amazing, and they actually turn an entire area in a little town into The North Pole, with all the famous Christmas characters. I'm SO glad I have this clip on video, especially since my eyes were welling up with tears... my sweet little Cindy Lou Who (one of the elves working on our train kept calling her Cindy Lou, so this was SO fitting) loves The Grinch and defended him to the sweet little boy next to her! A.D.O.R.A.B.L.E.

Santa 10

think I've posted all except the Santa from the portrait studio for y'all to see! Lorelai LOVES Santa, and is going to really love her "HO HO HO, HO HO HO, HO HO HO, HO HO HO of 2010" book that I am making for her! Here is Santa on The Polar Express..

Snow Tubing in Brandywine Ohio

We had a great time trying out snow tubing... being from Tennessee we're not experts at winter sports, but this one was relatively easy and super fun. Thanks Derek and Angie for taking us on this adventure!

Stan Hwyet House

While in Ohio Rusty, my mom, and I toured the Stan Hwyet house. It was SO neat when we arrived, it was snowing and Santa walked up to do the tree lighting and we drank the most delicious hot chocolate!!

A Christmas Story House

Under the sink...

I wanted a picture of Lorelai posing under the sink like Randy does in the scene where he says "Daddy's going to kill Ralphie", she wanted no part of that so I climbed in instead :)

Randy

The kid who played Randy was even in the house trying to sell stuff with a funny sign that said "Help me pay off my student loans." Funny.

The LEG LAMP

We lined up with every other "A Christmas Story" fanatic to pose with the leg lamp, and let me tell you... it did not disappoint!!

A Christmas Story House

The house that was used to film "A Christmas Story" is located in Cleveland, Ohio so we took the opportunity to enjoy this geographically unique experience and went on the tour. I almost talked Lorelai into wearing the pink bunny suit sold at the gift shop, but she opted to buy the Ralphie, Randy, Scot Farcus, etc. dolls instead.
