Computer Geek

Lorelai can really use the computer! Her Pa has a HP TouchSmart, and all she has to do is point on the screen where she wants to click her mouse. Her favorite cyber space activity is You Tube, she says whatever character she is thinking of... and Meemi and Pa type it in... then she clicks on the videos. And, how cute is the little pillow in the chair that lifts her up to be tall enough?

Also, her Meemi has a laptop that Lorelai can use very well she loves to look at herself on this blog, and LOVES Cahill's Corner. It's not a touch screen so she has to tell her Meemi what to pull up for her, but once she is on the right screen she can use the arrows to navigate where she wants to go and if she accidentally makes something come up that she doesn't want she pushes Escape and continues on!

We very rarely let her use our computer out of fear that it will break. This is probably erroneous thinking and in all reality in another year to two she will likely be able to use it better than we can... as evidenced below.

Lorelai loved riding in this thing... we raced up and down my parents cul-de-sac and she reclined back giggling! The only bad thing, and thank goodness for modern technology is that the wheels don't turn. Anyway... here is my adorable-almost-two-year old bebe!

Perfect Weather

Fall is my FAVORITE season, especially living in the South! It's cool and crisp in the evening and morning and in the 70s and 80s with no humidity in the afternoons!

State Roster and Goal

So, my little Lorelai has traveled to 13 states all before she reached 23 months. I LOVE to travel and I hope to pass that passion on... and, my new goal is to get her to all 50 states by the time she graduates from high school!

We had so much fun in NYC... it was a very quick trip into the city, but we got to see so much and are very thankful for having Leigh and Mike to tour us around.

BFFs Leigh and Mike... both work in the financial industry so it was really fun to see the Stock Exchange and Wall Street with them.

The main reason for the trip was to go to my 10 year high-school reunion, and to visit with my BFF Leigh and her boyfriend, Mike. I was lucky enough to graduate from the most beautiful high school ever, Princeton High!
