First Plane Ride

Lorelai flew from Memphis to Indianapolis on a DC-9, the crew was smitten with her... she didn't cry on the plane!! NWA even presented her with a "First Flight" certificate and a pair of wings!

Riding the choo choo...

Lorelai's great-grandfather Lucky made this train out of junk yard parts in 1964. It ran back and fourth on track in my mom's front yard propeled by a washing machine motor- so creative! It doesn't run anymore, and it's rusting away, but it is still there and it was very sentimental to get a picture of my sweet daughter on it 40+ years after it was built!

I am also super excited to get this picture printed and framed. I work in an old train station and I think this will look great hanging in my office.
