Home Sweet Home

When we moved in... our front walkway wasn't symetrical with our front steps... it had been centered with the front door.. but not the front steps... anyway.. we had new cement poured and our new walkway looks amazing! I LOVE it... it's so wide, and makes such a grand statement! The front of the house looks a million times better than it originally did, and I'm so happy that we've made some upgrades!

Garden Border

We've added a cement border around our shrubs... it's so pretty, and really adds a nice touch to the front of the house!

New Fireplace Mirror

Another great picture of our plantation blinds.. and you can see the new fireplace mirror, which I am proud to say.. I painted myself, and Rusty hung it completely flush so it looks built in! I've got to get something cool to put in my vases... but again... a work in progress!

The Office

I haven't posted any pictures of our office until now.. mainly because it was a scary disaster.. but here is our upstairs bonus room... one day we're going to move our couches from down stairs to the upstairs, and get a big t.v. up here... one day! I know it still looks a bit disorganized.. and it is a work in progress.. but believe me this is worlds better than it was when we moved in! The pictures of our master bedroom will be coming one day... but for now... I can't subject y'all to that mess!

My mums..

I am absolutely NOT a plant or flower person.. but when I spotted this cement planter I knew it would look amazing on our front porch... so I've been trying really hard to keep these mums alive... I've even researched online about how to properly care for them... so far they're still alive but looking a bit sickly... uh... I hope they make it!

New Front Rockers

I waited all summer for these to go on sale... and they finally did! Now, I'm stalking down the drink table in hopes that it too will go on sale!!

New Patio Furniture

Rusty got a grill for his birthday, so we absolutely had to have somewhere to sit and eat all of our yummy grill food, and the couch is nice just to lounge on in the evenings... it has been so much fun to cook out with our neighbor and to have friends and family over for Saturday night BBQs! I also bought the baby an outdoor pack & play so she can comfortably join in all of the festivities too!!

New Guest Bedroom

We finally got a king size bed for the master bedroom... which meant that we could start to work on our guest room, also known as Seuss's room.....notice that the blinds must be left at least half way up so that she can see out the back window! LOL! We've got to find some funky art work for the walls and then it's complete!

Baby's Room

Here is an updated picture of the nursery... finally the rocker has been recovered, and refinished, and you can also see our beautiful plantation blinds (we have them in every window of the house.. except for the upstairs window... which is coming soon... and for the crescent window in the master bedroom... which is insanely expensive and will be coming after Christmas)!
